1993: Won the Femina Miss India crown. In the same year she was crowned the second runner-up in the Miss Universe contest.
1994-1997 : In this phase she is the supermodel of Indian fashion fraternity wherein no show is considered complete without her. Featured in many coveted advertisements and ramp shows.
1998: Features in an advertisement with fellow model Milind Soman for Tuff shoes. The ad, which was inspired by Nastassja Kinski's famous poster, featured both of them in the raw with a python coiled around them. As soon as the ad hit the press a huge controversy erupted leading to a court case which is still dragging on.
1998-2000- The supermodel these days has turned reclusive with a few ramp appearances. She is now toying with several ideas, which include opening a café in Mumbai and writing a book on her experiences.
